As part of our regular series, The Craft of Statistical Analysis Webinars, last week I was privileged to host a webinar with guest presenter Peter Bruce of The Institute for Statistics Education at statistics.com on Data Mining.
As a statistician who has never done data mining, I found it really fascinating to see where the methods overlap.
And with hundreds of people on the webinar, we didn’t have time to get through all the really great questions that people asked. So in his infinite niceness, Peter went ahead and typed up answers to the questions we didn’t get to and put them in a pdf document. (And yes, there were a lot of questions. Thanks, Peter).
