When to Use a One-tailed Test, Revisited

by Karen Grace-Martin

I just came across a rant about using one-tailed significance tests at a great blog, Signifying Nothing.

It was a perfect example of the point I made in a previous post “When to Use One-Tailed Tests:”  Everyone thinks you’re trying to cheat.

The blog only occasionally mentions statistics, but the stats posts are both informative and humorous.

And we all need a little humor about statistics.
