Module 1: Laying the Foundation
     Understand the key terms used in structural equation modeling
     Become acquainted with the notation
     Review variance, co-variance and correlation

     Recognize under-identified vs just-identified vs over-identified models


Module 2: Building the Ground Floor
     Understand how the variance/covariance matrix is incorporated in SEM
     Recognize differences between standardized and non-standardized output
     Goodness of fit statistics for SEM


Module 3: Confirmatory Factor Analysis
     Evaluation of single construct model
     Identifying/improving ill-fitting CFA models
     Comparing and choosing best fit model
     Calculating a construct’s reliability index



Module 4: Two or More Construct Models
     Understand discriminant and convergent validity
     Understand and implement the process of building a multiple construct model
     Recognizing causes and reasons for poor fitting models


Module 5: Invariance, Non-Invariance by Group or Time
     Tau equivalent constructs

Jeff Meyer is a statistical consultant and the Stata expert at The Analysis Factor. He teaches workshops and provides Stata examples for a number of our workshops, including Intro to Stata, Missing Data, and Repeated Measures.

He also runs his own consulting firm, Optimizing Outcomes, which helps non-profits determine the impact of their outcomes.
