Member Training: Marginal Models for Repeated Measures Data

Repeated measures ANOVA doesn’t cut it for many repeated measures situations, but do you always need mixed models instead?

There is another option that for many designs works better than either RM ANOVA or mixed models: marginal models.
In this training, you’ll gain a clear, practical understanding of marginal statistical models for repeated measures data—how they work, when to use them, and how they differ fundamentally from mixed models. They’re some of the most underappreciated and useful type of models in statistics.

You’ll learn about two powerful marginal approaches, linear marginal models and Generalized Estimating Equations (GEE).

Note: This training is an exclusive benefit to members of the Statistically Speaking Membership Program and part of the Stat’s Amore Trainings Series. Each Stat’s Amore Training is approximately 90 minutes long.
